The original Meadowvale Village was awarded the first Heritage Conservation District of Ontario in 1980.
Situated in the Northeast part of Mississauga it is part of the greater area known as Meadowvale and has many historical buildings.


Many large Canadian and U.S. corporations, factories and research facilities have located next door to Meadovale Village in one of the largest business parks in Mississauga.
Recent new subdivisions built near Meadowvale Village have duplicated the heritage look and feeling of the original village. Here you will find housing with decorative gingerbread as well as porches running the full width of the structure.
Both public and Catholic shools are available in the area.
Several access points to Highway 401 will take you to Toronto and other parts of Southern Ontario.
Local transit is handled by Mississauga Transit who also offer service to the Islington Subway Station in Toronto.
Commuters have a choice of 2 GO stations, one at Meadowvale, the other at the newer developed area around Lisgar.
